An already existing small residence in Sohos was decided to be extended to suit better the family's needs. 54 s.m. were added to the 85 s.m. residence, a roof of standard inclination to support the photovoltaic panels installation also and an attic therefore. The size of the extention eventually needed all the elevations to be re-designed. A mix of modern and traditional elements characterises the building. Cement and stone walls for the facades, wooden windows, doors and shutters, pvc-cover for the roof are proposed. The material used is either to be found on site or hi-tech material such as solar panels to increase the sustainability of the building. The house is located in a field of 12,000 s.m. where fruit and groceries are cultivated for self-consumption.
