In a single, unified structure in Epanomi, two separate homes are arranged to function independently, even though they share the same architectural framework. From the outset, the goal was to offer each household as much privacy as possible.
The project embraces a calm, contemporary architectural language, defined by clean lines and simple geometric forms. While the building appears as one cohesive volume, the shaping and orientation of its masses subtly distinguish the two residences, both spatially and functionally.
Stone, tinted plaster, wood, and olive-toned frames create a warm, earthy palette that ties the building to its surrounding landscape, with a restrained, understated character. The variation of surfaces highlights the form, allowing the materials themselves to express the structure’s character.
Pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and a private pool for each home reinforce a sense of autonomy in the outdoor areas, forming separate courtyards with no visual overlap. As a result, one building hosts two distinct ways of living — with architecture quietly balancing togetherness and privacy.
